In 2004-2005 – Acting Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Informatization and Communication;

In 2005-2006 – First Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Informatization and Communication;

In 2006 he held the post of Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Informatization and Communications;

In 2006-2010 – The President of Kazakhtelecom JSC;

In 2010-2012 – The Minister for Communications and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

In 2012-2014 – The Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

In 2014 – The Chairman of the Agency for Communications and Information;

In 2014-2015 – The Deputy Minister for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

From 2015 to 2017 he held the post of Chairman of the Board of Kazatomprom NAC JS.
